These are some of my favorite things and things I get asked about most frequently. I buy this stuff with my own money and share it because I love it and think you might too. Amazon Associates is the only affiliate program I’m a part of and any of their affiliate links generating revenue will be labeled [AFFILIATE].
Aromatherapy diffusers — I’m extremely self conscious about animal odors in our zoo so we have two of these downstairs. I like that you can change the light color and that it has 1-, 3- and 6-hour setting modes.
Closet shoe rack — Love this thing. I went with a 2-pack of the 3-tier, giving me 6 shelves to stack any way I want.
Couch — We are fully obsessed with our first piece of Joybird furniture. We went with the Safeguard fabric upgrade, which repels most liquids (you bet we tested it by dumping water on it) and stands up to sun damage and destructive pets. Couldn’t be happier with it. The Eliot is great because you can flip which side the sectional lounge is on if your room orientation ever changes.
Living Room Rug — This is the #1 thing I get questions about and finding it wasn’t easy. I think I went through 4 rugs in this room in 2 months before landing on a winner. I’m Team Cheap Rug because our animals inevitably destroy them so this was the first time I really invested in a heavier piece. I do not regret it. The design and color of this rug is also extremely forgiving to our black and white animal fur that’s everywhere but somehow remains invisible.
Dining Room Rug — This is the #2 thing I get questions about. I’m a big fan of Rugs USA because it’s tough to find them NOT in the middle of a huge sale. The design and color of this has also been forgiving with our animal fur.
Electrolyte powder — My sister introduced me to this stuff the morning after her bachelorette party. It brings you back to life.
Stainless steel straws — I like that this set comes with 4 straws (2 straight and 2 bent) and a brush to clean them.
Cruelty-free dish soap — Note that this comes in a 6 pack so you’ll be set for… ever.
Cruelty-free body wash — Huge fan of Jason products and the realization that I can buy them on Amazon.
Cruelty-free shampoo & conditioner — I’m rarely product loyal when it comes to hair care but I’ve stuck with this brand for quite a while now.
Resistance bands — My favorite thing about these bands is that they’re clearly labeled in order of lightest to heaviest.
iPhone case — This thing is a lifesaver. I use my phone constantly and drop it pretty regularly and (fingers crossed) have never had any disasters.
Large umbrella — I bought two of these for our office because we actually have to walk outside to access the bathroom (~*~*~luxury~*~*~) and that sucks when it’s raining. These are full-size, not foldable or “bag size” so don’t get them for travel.
