I had what I would describe as The Introvert’s Ultimate Weekend. I avoided human contact at all cost save for a couple of strategically planned small group and one-on-one social interactions that filled me up. This included an afternoon with my family, a long overdue reunion with a very good old friend, decking the halls (yes, me and yes, even with Christmas music), and tons and tons of cooking. I’ll take it.
This baby is cute and all but now there’s a lot of pressure on the rest of us to produce something as impressive. I am stressed.
Remember Wedgie, my old roommate?? We reunited (well, I reunited with his mom), and this little potbelly pig is the same as always.
I got depressed about my Christmas situation Saturday night and drove straight to the lot to buy a tree. It makes no sense at all because we leave for the holidays on Friday, but whatever. There it is. I even played Christmas music while I put it up.
I don’t know what happened but something about the ease of the weekend launched me into extreme cooking mode. I made tons of food and pretty much didn’t sit down for six hours straight on Sunday. That’s how I like things.
If you’re playing along with 25 Days of Yoga, don’t forget your Week 3 schedule is up here.
