  1. Buy the expensive eye cream, and wash your damn face at night.
  2. You don’t like drinking or partying or being around people in general but you won’t figure it out for seven or eight more years so just try not to be an idiot.
  3. These boys are a joke compared to what’s coming. Just. you. wait. YOU HAVE NO IDEA.
  4. You do fine without insurance for a while so quit the job and take the leap. It’s fun.
  5. I assure you you still don’t know what you want to be when you grow up so maybe just stop worrying about it.
  6. Calm down about school. All you’re going to remember are your friends.
  7. Everyone keeps telling you these are the best years of your life and you’re really stressed out about making that so, but the truth is it gets a whole lot better.
  8. Everyone also keeps telling you these will be your friends for life and that is actually 100% true so stop shutting everybody out. They’re not going anywhere ever.
  9. You will deliver on the lifelong joke of being on The Bachelor and totally regret it. Congratulations.
  10. MOM IS GENERALLY RIGHT.
  11. Except don’t listen to mom when she tells you not to keep that fat black cat. She was wrong about that one.
  12. There’s never enough money or time but you somehow thrive without either.
  13. Europe would be better without a boyfriend but you won’t listen.
  14. Your diet of Powerbars and Diet Coke and fat-free anything is not sustainable. You’ll learn to eat whole foods after college and never look back.
  15. The cycle of compulsive exercise and starvation is ruining your body. Yoga is going to change your life.
  16. Weight loss never does bring you any additional happiness.
  17. I’m not saying you’re going to be the last one married but you are not the first. You still don’t care.
  18. You will get opportunities to travel all over the world. Always say yes. Always.
  19. Never stop writing for you. The paid stuff is never as fun.
  20. In all your planning and scheming and dreaming of what’s to come, you will never know. So just sit back and enjoy the ride. You do just fine.

#10. Are you saying this because Christmas is near? ; )

  2. #10 is SO TRUE. I don’t know what it is about moms, but they know what’s up like 90% of the time.

    Love this ❤️

  4. Love this, especially #7. College is okay, but it really does get better (well, most of the time…the added responsibilities aren’t always fun :)).

  5. Beautiful. I could have used #6. Luckily I never believed #7.
